Empties #11

It's been a hot minute since my last empties! I try to get one of these up every quarter, but sometimes I just forget or keep putting it off until I finish a certain product because I'm sooo close. Anyway, this is the loot that I've come up with this time around!

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal mask
OMG I finally finished this mask! If you guys are OG readers you may remember this from years ago - it was one of the first masks I ever used, and among my first purchases from Mecca haha :P This stuff is a really good, standard clarifying charcoal mask. It gets down in there and really cleans out the skin, but - it is quite drying and very uncomfortable and tight while on. It's a great clarifying mask if you're looking for one though!
Repurchase? Probably not - I'm excited to be moving onto other masks! Maybe in the distant, distant future haha

Origins Original Skin Retexturising mask
I had a little sachet of this and I actually got 4-5 uses out of it which is dece! I really liked this mask, it's a clarifying clay mask but it also has little beads in it to help exfoliate. I feel like it's more gentle than the Clear Improvement but still as effective.
Repurchase? Possibly! Definitely more likely to buy this than Clear Improvement.

Garnier Pure 3in1 Cleanser, Scrub, Mask
This has been sitting in my shower for WAY too long. Like a couple of years ago I really liked this as a scrub and a mask - it worked pretty well! I think my sister used the majority of it, and then I ended up using the dregs as a body exfoliant mainly on my chest/neck/back where I have acne. It actually worked really well for that and I'm considering getting a similar product purely for me body acne (how fab).
Repurchase? Do they even still make this? Maybe!

Trilogy Hydrating Mist Toner
Another empties, another mist toner. These have become staples for me as my second toning step to refresh the skin and add more moisture. A completely useless step but one I can't go without! This one is nice, the bottle is glass and the mist is really fine. I can't say there's anything particularly special about it though, and considering it's on the pricier side I probably wouldn't repurchase!
Repurchase? Nah, back on my Mario Badescu Facial spray for now!

The Jojoba Company 100% Natural Australian Jojoba*
This jojoba oil has been sitting around in my stash for aaages. I used like half the bottle like a year ago and moved onto something else, and I finally finished it up! I really like this oil actually. I used it in the morning and it moisturises the skin really well, but also sinks in and doesn't make me oily throughout the day. In terms of scar-fading, etc - can't objectively comment but I feel like it helped!
Repurchase? I actually already have another bottle in my stash, so not anytime soon haha.

Hada Labo Cleansing Oil
I really liked this cleansing oil! I honestly can't complain about it. It removed makeup and waterproof eye products excellently, and washed off without leaving any excess.
Repurchase? I have a few cleansing oils to get through so not any time soon, but I would.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]
You know the drill.

QV Face Cleansing wipes
I did NOT like these. First of all they were super dry and the cloth felt a bit scratchy. Also it stung my eyes! Not impressed for what's supposed to be a product for sensitive skin. I soldiered on though and used these just for light-medium face makeup and it was fine.
Repurchase? No.

Biore UV Perfect Face Milk
Freaking love this stuff! Not only is it an awesome SPF (50++++!) but it's such a great formula. It's a thin milky consistency that sinks in immediately. More than anything I actually love this as a primer - it controls oil really well!
Repurchase? In the future - for sure!

The Body Shop Aloe Lip Care
It's sad to say good bye. They've since discontinued this lip balm which is a TRAVESTY because it was excellent. It just moisturised the lips really well, what can I say?
Repurchase? Impossible. *cries*

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless
You know, the usual - me keeping mascaras for a million years past their expiry. Don't mind me. I actually really liked this mascara. Once it had dried out a little, I found it to build on itself well to give a good amount of volume and definition. Not waterproof = didn't hold a curl, and smudged a bit.
Repurchase? Probably not, but it was a good mascara.

Dove Triple Moisturising Deeply Nourishing Body Wash
Something that I rarely mention on the blog, but is an absolute staple in my household are the Dove beauty bars - aka bar soaps. They are the only bar soaps that actually moisturise the skin! This body wash is pretty much the extension of those and it's amazing! It's like a creamy consistency that lathers well in a loofah but leaves my skin feeling really nourished. It's like those in shower body conditioners except that it actually cleans you and doesn't leave a gross film :P
Repurchase? Possibly! Once I get through my millions of Dove bar soaps heh

Goldwell Scalp Specialist Foam Shampoo
Not much to say here. This shampoo is designed for sensitive scalps and it really was very gentle, but still fairly effective at cleaning the hair. Used it to use it up!
Repurchase? No.
